GivEnergy, the UK's largest provider of residential energy storage solutions is growing at a blistering pace. The Stoke-on-Trent business is investing in new products and facilities on the back of advancing in both UK and European solar markets.
The business is currently on a major technology recruitment drive - could you help shape their products?
“We’re excited to be adding talented technical staff to our team”, says Josie Frodsham, GivEnergy HR Manager. “As more consumers turn to energy storage solutions to combat the cost of living crisis, demand for our products is soaring. In turn, this means we need more talented employees to help us continue improving our services and solutions.”
At present, GivEnergy employs 60 staff. By the end of 2023, the company hopes to have more than 100 employees in its UK HQ. This growth will primarily come through the technical side of the business – with vacancies for mobile developers, app developers, embedded firmware engineers, full stack developers, front end web developers, field service engineers, and more.
As well as its physical products – inverters, storage batteries, and supporting accessories – GivEnergy also supplies sophisticated energy management software. This includes an advanced web monitoring portal and a mobile app. These software solutions allow customers to remotely manage their system and maintain full visibility over their energy usage.
“We’re investing heavily in the software side of our business. So, an influx of talented technical employees will help us continue driving positive updates for our customers”, - Josie Frodsham - GivEnergy HR Manager
“It’s an exciting time to join GivEnergy. In a world which feels pretty uncertain right now, there couldn’t be a better time to join the thriving energy storage industry as it charges from strength to strength.”
