Port of Blyth, Northumberland dumps coal for solar!

Once Europe's largest exporter of coal, now a thriving port serving the offshore energy industry has linked up with Advanced Renewable Power to deliver two solar arrays totalling 560kw. The installation is underway, expecting to complete in approximately 5 weeks and is being completed with JA Solar 540w modules,  Solis 100kw and 60w inverters and SunFixings mounting systems. CCL Components adds GivEnergy to the range

The distributor based in Glasgow has announced it's stocking a full range of GivEnergy products including the ever-popular Hybrid Inverters and Grid-tied storage The distributor has delivery capabilities across the UK and suggests that fast stock availability is possible. Visit CCL website.

Dominos supply centre planning to stuff crusts using solar

And finally, just for the fun of it, the Warrington Guardian news site reported this week that the world-famous pizza chain will add a 1MW solar array to their operation. The centre serves it's retail stores in the North West with ingredients and supplies which will soon be powered by Solar. The new Supply Centre based in Warrington has submitted planning application with the local authority and expects to baking in no time!
