The UK solar industry is growing rapidly, and the demand for trained professionals in the field is on the rise. Recognising this need, Solar Crowd and MBC Renewables have announced a collaboration to provide technical insights and top-notch solar training to individuals looking to break into the industry, or to upskill for success and efficiency.
Solar Crowd is a platform for the UK solar people created by Sean Collier, a long-standing industry member since 2007 at various levels. Sean previously held Sales and Marketing positions with installers, distributors and manufacturers including Q Cells and Enphase. "We have created a voice for the 'people of the solar industry at all levels with Solar Crowd'" said Sean.
MBC Renewables is a leading provider of renewable energy training and certification courses created by industry-veteran Michael Middlemast. This collaboration brings together the expertise and resources of both businesses to provide comprehensive solar training to individuals. The collaboration also extends to Michael becoming a key contributor to Solar Crowd on technical topics within the industry. Michael commented: "The collaboration is very much inline with our approach, we aim to create renewable energy professionals. Solar Crowd provides a great opportunity to reach and upskill more people sooner."

In coming months the pair will team up to expand specialist short courses for sales and marketing in the solar industry in an effort to enable upskill the growing segment of the industry. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field and receive hands-on training with the latest solar technology. Most courses cover not just solar but also storage and EV technologies in order for participants to make a difference to each project.
