This exciting role will be reporting to the Zero Carbon Living Home Director and will help to launch, build and scale OVO’s new solar and battery storage business. What does this role involve? Owning the commercials, strategic direction, as well as go-to-market plan for OVO Energy. You will need to have a breadth of knowledge in renewable generation technologies that can help decarbonise homes with 4 million customers. The successful candidate will also need great sales skills in order to market the product effectively.
In addition to having great sales skills, it is essential that the successful candidate has strong technical knowledge of solar power systems, battery storage systems and other renewable energy solutions such as wind turbines or micro combined heat & power plants. You should also have experience in developing partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers or installers so that you can ensure quality products are used in any installations or repairs at competitive prices. Finally, you should have excellent project management skills in order to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
